You don’t have to spend a fortune in the beauty salons in order to have nice and smooth heels. You can prepare a home treatment which will be far cheaper and even more efficient.
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of baking soda
- 4-5l warm water
- Moisturizer
- Brush, pumice stone or soft scrub sponge
- Lavender essential oil (if you like)
Apply the baking soda in the water and mix it well until it dissolves completely. You can put several drops of lavender essential oil if you like. Lavender oil will give nice smell to your spa treatment. Place your feet in the mixture for 15-20 minutes and then scrub your heels with a sponge, scrub brush or pumice stone. Then you should smear high-glycerin moisturizer, like coconut oil or Vaseline and put on socks to keep the moisture inside.
Implement this process twice a week and when you notice that your heels are in better condition, you can do the treatment twice in a month through the summer. If you are doing it before going in bed, you should wear the socks through the night. In order to have better effect you should make a thick paste of baking soda and little bit of water. Scrub your feet before using the sponge.
