We all want to have a healthy, lush and beautiful hair, but hair loss has a negative impact on us and our confidence. Hair loss (alopecia) is a common problem, which is more pronounced in men than in women, and can be caused by many factors: genetic factors, hormonal imbalance, skin disease, thyroid problems, lack of nutrients in the diet, chronic stress, strong colors and other chemicals for hair, side effects of certain medications.
Natural hair loss usually occurs as a consequence of the aging process, when follicles produce thinner and reduce hair’s lifespan. However, there are certain ways to slow the process of hair loss, and to accelerate its growth. Studies have shown that rosemary is pretty good, probably due to its role in increasing the blood circulation in the body.
In these examples you will see ways, how you can apply it in order to stimulate hair growth.
Place rosemary oil in shampoo or conditioner
Add essential oil of rosemary for daily hair care to your shampoo or conditioner. Use two drops of rosemary oil for every 30 ml of shampoo or conditioner. If you do not apply the practice of daily shampooing, while only applying any conditioner, then apply it to wet hair previously enriched with rosemary oil and rinse as usual.
Use it to massage the scalp
For daily massage which stimulates hair growth, the ideal procedure is to add 30 ml of jojoba oil with two drops of essential oil of rosemary. With this combination of prepared oils gently massage your head about three minutes before washing your hair.
Make weekly treatment with hot oil of rosemary
Conduct this treatment with hot oil every week. For this treatment you will need 50 ml of jojoba oil or almond oil and five drops of rosemary oil. Put the oil in a small glass jar with a lid. Weights put in a pot of boiling water for several minutes in order to heat the oil. Then gradually massage your head with warm oil, for a few minutes and you will not have any damage if you cover the entire hair to the tips. Wrap your head in a shower cap or plastic bag, and then cover it with a warm, damp cloth. After 30 to 45 minutes, wash your hair with a mild shampoo (it is best to use baby shampoo) and allow it to dry naturally.
Note: The essential oil of rosemary is not recommended for people who suffer from high blood pressure.
