Back pain is one of the reasons of being extremely active and also being inactive. Around 31 million Americans have lower back pain in any given moment. It’s a typical problem and people are trying to eliminate it.
Anytime you fell, aches, spasms or stiffness, these stretches will help keep your back strong and fit.
- The hamstring floor stretch.
Hold each leg for about 30 seconds twice in a row.
- Knee to chest stretch.
This will strengthen and relax your gluts. Hold each leg for 20 seconds twice in a row.
- Spinal stretch.
When I had sciatica this was my favorite. Hold for 20 seconds on each knee. Repeat this as much as you want, but don’t exaggerate.
- The piriformis stretch.
Hold for 30 seconds on each leg.
- The hip flexors stretch.
Hold for half a minute, then switch and repeat.
- The quadriceps lying down stretch.
Hold for half a minute on each side. Repeat this twice on each side.
- The total back stretch.
Hold for half a minute and then try this:
Hold for 10 seconds, and repeat on another side
This will help your lower back to feel good again!
