Two thirds of the body consists of water. However, very often we forget to drink or worse replace the water with other drinks. Did you know that at the moment, when you feel thirsty, you are already dehydrated? It also means that the level of water in your body is below that required for normal functioning. Do not think that only thirst is a sign that you need water. There are few signs that need to be addressed, which warn us that we have a shortage of water in our body. From all of them these five are the most common:
Fatigue
If you feel tired during the day, do not forget to drink water instead of drinks that contain caffeine, which you think will keep you awake. Also, in the morning drink a glass of lukewarm water, because it will “wake up” the digestive system and liver.
Dry skin
You may be surprised that a lot of people, who have dry skin, often use lotions instead of consuming more water. Water improves circulation in the skin and helps with recovery. Instead of using a lotion for hydration, drink more water and record the results for the appearance of your skin.
Inflammation of the eye
If your eyes are inflamed and lack luster (which is often accompanied by dark circles under the eyes), then you are probably dehydrated. The eyes should always be moist; water is essential for the production of tears and keeps the humidity in the glands. By increasing the intake of water in the body, the results are immediately visible.
Constipation
Water also helps to keep moisture in the intestine, thereby preventing problems with constipation. If you do not drink enough water, then it is very likely that you will have problems with bowel function. So we recommend at least five glasses of water a day.
Headache or dizziness
Frequent headaches and dizziness are signs that you immediately need water. Do not try to replace it with soft drinks or other beverages, drink only clean water.
